Curtiss-Wright Stepping Motors

Curtiss-Wright Antriebstechnic / SIG Antriebstechnic / Berger Lahr stepping motors

These stepping motors from Curtiss-Wright Antriebstechnic (formerly SIG Antriebstechnic) are used as the pilot motor on the servo-hydraulic linear amplifiers and torque amplifiers. The step motor accurately controls the movement of the spool inside the NC-valve attached to the hydraulic cylinder or motor. Most versions are coupled to the NC-valve via a flexible coupling (LVN, LVK, LVH, LVH & LVC linear amplifiers as well as the SVN, SVK & SFM torque amplifiers) however one motor (Type 247) which is used on the LVE range of linear amplifiers forms a hydraulic seal with it's flange.
