Low noise Mechatronics
 |
Certain applications require a stepping motor to operate in a very 'smooth' way and/or have a quite operation. Typically applications that require this type of performance can be found in the medical field such as in laboratory type applications.
Whether the application be movement of a camera over slides containing chromosomes or movement of a sample tray under a Pipette for the testing of DNA the requirement is for low noise and smooth performance with precision. For this reason the Sonceboz low noise mechatronics stepping motors 8660-15LN and 8660-20LN were developed. |
With a 'microstep' capability between 1,600 and 51,200 microsteps the 8660 LN series mechatronics Typical applications that use the low noise mechatronic systems are found in the medical field.
Here on the right is a hybrid stepping motor with linear spindle nut system and control electronics with I2C bus and power sensor.
Typical use of mechatronics systems in the medical field can be found on devices such as peristaltic pumps where fluids are required to be metered precisely, where noise pollution is important and where use in clean environments is necessary. |
